I have 17's on my sentra and they look really good in it. Tire size are 215/45 R17

Yeah, I've got 17's on my 98 Sentra as well, except I went with 205/40ZR17's because they were within 1% of my stock overall diameter and therefore wouldn't have to re-pinion gear my VSS to keep my speedo reading right. Anyways, I think 17"s about as big as you can reasonably go without making any other modifications, although do bear in mind that it's going to look like it's lifted if the height of the sidewall is less than the gap between the top of the tire and the fender IE you may want to lower it around the same time.
