even if you have a disengage switch your battery will eventually die due to starting the
vehicle but if your alternator is going out your battery is going to drain way faster bc the
battery is only used to start the car. the alternator is used to charge and run all electrical
components in the car. as for the battery switch i dont think so. if you want to see if the
battery is good take a multimeter (you can use one at any auto part store for free just ask)
and test the battery it should read 12.00v to roughly 12.60v give or take and with the car
running the battery should read 14.00v to 14.20v give or take. DC
