Will a 93 Lexus ES 300 accept most Toyota Camry parts for repairs?

Asked by Tracy1993 Apr 17, 2008 at 09:43 PM about the 1993 Lexus ES

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am looking into purchasing a 93 Lexus ES 300 with 202K.  I am wondering if this is a good investment.  I do not have the economic means to repair it with Lexus parts.

Depends on what parts. Things like oil filters may be the same part number. I'd get the Lexus Part number, then call in the Toyota shop to see if it will save you money. If you buy online (parts.com) the prices are close. If you are talking about OEM or after market stuff. Be careful. For my 1994, I've managed to find things at the toyota dealer by saying I need x for a 1994 Camry V6 and it was an exact match.

my wife has a 93 lexus es300 and i just had to replace the motor in it and also it needs a new transmission so thnk twice bofore buying it plus that one has alot of miles already
