When your check engine light comes on, it disables the track system. You should bring the car to your local Autozone and have the error codes read. Post them back here and one of us can tell you what part needs replacing. I have read on another forum that says if the car is low on fuel, it will cause these lights to illuminate. I'm a little suspect of that. Make sure your gas cap is on tight. That can trigger a check engine light.

"Cheapest" and "Lexus" don't easily sit together in the same sentence- good luck
