Did you replace the knock sensor harness? This is a must. Had to do it on a sienna same 3.0 engine. Also ONLY use Denso knock sensors. Toyotas are sensitive to Denso parts. Other aftermarket parts, ECU will not recognize.

Wiring Harness was replaced and yes the knock sensors are aftermarket but mechanic said they are working was told this issue you mentioned but because of cost I went for the aftermarket plus year of the vehicle took a risk basically ! I was told by a mechanic yesterday that he thinks its a diffrent issue but can't pin point it that's why I asked ! Thank you for your reply !

Yeah when I was looking for these sensors, they were astronomical in price. I ended up finding a user on eBay that had 2 OEM for $30 Yes I got a steal. I was seeing like $125 each on most sites. I did the job myself and changed out the coolant hose in the valley also while in there. It was a mess with leaves and sand. My code for the bank 1 went away for like $65. Good luck but my mind tells me those aftermarket parts are the issue. My research when I did my 02 sienna said absolutely do not buy anything other than Denso. I work on a lot of toyotas and they have a different Ohm pattern in the ECU. Coils and oxygen sensors and A/F sensors have to be Denso.

Make sure there's "No" Water in the Fuel. Sometimes when you buy gas and your getting to the bottom of a tank at the "Station"...water sinks in Gas...also, the filter should be changed if it hasn't been done...just FYI..
