Should be able to. It will be much easier to look at a second car with the hood up to know where to release the hood than to go in blind. Had to pop a co workers cougar a while ago, took about 10 min. He would leave the keys in the car so that he wouldn't loose them and use the door key pad, worked good untill he left the lights on.
I had the same problem. Dead car battery. But car key fob wouldn't turn once I slid the key out and into the driver's side door lovk which wouldn't turn. I used my AAA membership to call for a tech.. The tech was there in a few minutes. The guy had a slimjjim kit. The door was opened in about 35 seconds. Tipped him $5 - because he saved me a whole lot of aggravation. Unlatched the hood from inside and popped the hood. Put my charger on the battery. After about 1 min I clicked the door unlock FOB button and all of the locks unclicked and I popped open the trunk. We've had AAA about 10 years - used it 3x. For me, it's worth every penny. About $75 per year for both me and my wife.
