Dear CarguruI changed both front brakes , both front Calipers of my 1997 nissan maxima, I also changed the brake hose for passenger side brakes as per your advise. For a few days my car ran v.smoothly but again it has started giving me same trouble as before.i.e after driving about 8-9 miles I feel my brakes being jammed and my car losses its speed and if I remove my foot from the pedal the car stops and I smell burning smell.At this time if I stop my car and put cold water on my front Brakes , wait a few minutes then start my car ....I t runs like new and v.smooth, But the problem does not go away same thing happens again the next day and again.Please advise ASAP. I have took it in for a few diagnostic but I'm getting told everything is fine. I had s tuneup last month and also I get oil changes every month and half. Does anyone know what it could be?
