I have a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 4 Dr S Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After you drive the car for a little while, when coming up on a stop, the car
acts like it doesn't gear down and dies. It will start right back and run until
you pull it back in gear, then it dies again. If you let it cool a minute it will
start and go back in gear, but this is going to get me killed in heavy traffic.
What could be the problem? I know when I bought it used, the battery was
dead and had to have a new battery.

My 1992 Olds lost the idle memory after a dead battery. Acts the same way. any way to reset the memory ???
