Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've got an '06 Grand Prix which was impounded over a year ago.  The cops were nice enough to leave a frozen pizza in the car ALL of last summer.  The smell is unbelievable.  I'm getting it back soon...any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

if it has a leather interior use leather cleaner containing lanolin. leave a boxed bar of soap in the car; preforated with some holes on top. clean rug with carpet cleaner found in store. good luck. :p

If you left a pizza in there, chances are a small animal got a whiff of it and tried to get in the car. If that happened, the chances are very good that it couldn't get back out again, so check under the seats, carpet, inside the heat/AC vents etc. Once that's done shampoo the whole interior at least twice and let it air out afterwards. A little Fabreeze wouldn't hurt either, and the bar of soap idea works pretty good too.
