Asked by GuruC2PBB Mar 05, 2019 at 08:19 PM about the 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 Dr GT Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My heater core was leaking and I had hose
replaced, now I smell antifreeze inside car, no
leaks but oil foggy residue on passenger
side, no leaks under hood either.

My bet is on the heater core. When they leak they just get worse. Good Luck!

Or, you can just try adding a can of Stop-Leak to your cooling system. If the leak is moderate, it will let you avoid/postpone replacing the heater box which is an awful driveway job.
