Blower motor in car

I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT My blower motor in my
heater works sometimes but sometimes it won't work what
is wrong with it?

probably needs to be replaced , make sure it's getting power before you replace it .

Check the electrical connections and make sure they are not lose or corroded. Also check the resistor board that tells the fan what speed to run (it may be going bad). In the end, it may, as "beatupchevy" suggested, need a blower replacement.

...but its much more likely that its the resistor. Did the speeds go out on it one at a time starting with the lowest one? If so, that's almost a sure sign that the resistor has fried. It's usually in the duct work o the passenger side inside the car and is easy to get at if you're a contortionist.
