Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2006 Torrent and I am loosing anti-freeze somewhere. There are no apparent leaks, but I have to refill the tank about once a month because it overheats otherwise. My mechanic has checked for leaks and could find none. Any suggestions?

If you can't find the leak use some anti-leak additive in the radiator. I like Alumaseal.

I have the same problem. A few months ago I had a friend put a new water pump and a sensor that turns the fans on in the front of the, because it was getting dangerously close to overheating. After that it ran perfect like when I first got it. Then I started leaking antifreeze coolant. I took it to several ppl and they said whoever did some work on it did not do something right...so a mechanic told me to get a thermostat. It was the same guy that flushed the radiator and said he took out a ton of gunk and junk. Now keep in mind that it does not run hot it kinda goes past the 3rd line that's before the red line indicating it's hot. After it passes the 3 white line it goes back to where its supposed to be. I don't know what else to do. PLEASE HELP ME!
