Have you found any info on this? We just swapped the transmission out of an 02 grand am and put it in my 05. It's shifting hard and throwing a code for incorrect gear ratio... idk if we should try reprogramming the pcm or just get an 05 transmission..

Just get an 05 transmission easy and simple. A computer reflash isn't going to do it. the computer controls multiple modules..and interacts with transmission modules, body control modules, new cars are almost like rolling computers how are your PC board repair skills? or operating systems skill sets Xp, WIN 7 WIN 8 WIN 10 Adobe, JAVA, etc.. if you can handle these simple computer platforms you can handle the car computer I know you get IT.
