2004 grand prix key stuck in on position

2004 gand prix with console shifter and key in the dashboard. key stuck in run
poisition. had 2 pull fuel pump relay 2 shut the car off. how do I get the key 2
turn 2 the off position? have the console out cant see anything wrong?

Chances are there is a broken wire at or near the shifter switch located under the console. had this happen on my 98. The wire broke right at the connector so it was hard to see. Good luck
