Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3.8 Supercharged, battery is being drained, charge it fully one day, by the next morning car will not even turn over.  We have checked relays, cooling fan motors, suspecting might be alternator.  Can anyone give us some suggestions on what to test and how to test it to find problem?  We don't know anyone who is electrically skilled with cars.
