engine WILL NOT SEPARATE FROM THE TRANSMISSION.

i am changing out the engine on a 2002 pontiac
sunfire.  have removed all 6 bolts....even cut
through one of the guides pins and it STILL WILL
NOT SEPARATE FROM THE TRANSMISSION.   any
ideas??

Corroded dowel pins will cause misery.
