Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 01 firebird. It ran great then one
day I pulled in the drive way turned it off
and came back later to start it and all it'll
do is crank. The anti theft light blinks also.
Any clues on what it could be?

A problem with the key or the ignition cylinder is likely. Look up Passlock. https://repairpal.com/gm-passlock-anti-theft-systems

First clean the key and the the key lock out with compressed air & Q-tips maybe a little alcohol then lube it with lock lube then try to start it if that does not work then I would take the positive battery cable off for 10 to 15 minutes see if that resets the cars computer. Get back to use if nothing works. Make sure all your battery cables are clean & tight too.

Thank you guys! It was the ignition relay! I switched out the ignition relay with a fan relay and it started right up!
