Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello again.  I have gotten the answer to this question, but it was a bit confusing.  How does someone access the pump? I know it is on the bottom of the resevoir. Do they have to go through the wheel well or remove the battery, which is sitting over the whole resevoir, and get to it that way? Do we do both?  Please tell me the best way to get to it.  I already have the answer as to how to change it, I think.  Thank you!

Saw a thread on Answer.com that suggested you should remove the battery to get at the reservoir. Good luck!

Removed the battery on the wifes 2004. That does not help. Looks like I may have to remove the wheel well to access it. Can anyone verify that?
