My grand am had the ignition drilled out due
to attempted theft.to replace the ignition is
125$ I don't have to replace the ignition  .is
there a way to bypass this  without
replacing the ignition  .the car will start for a
second but then shuts off ,any help would
be appreciated.

No there is no way to bypass, this is part of the security system. Thats why the car starts for a second then shuts off. You need a key for the security system. Have someone do this, $125 is not unreasonable since the security system would need to be reset with the new key.

I had the same problem. You put the key on the on position and leave it turned untill your security light stays lit up solid then your car will start it can take a few minutes to do so. When it's lit up solid start your car
