My 1996 pontiac bonneville makes a rattling noise when i drive, the rougher the road the worse it sounds. Sounds like its coming from the front passenger wheel.

Could this be a bad strut? How do i
know for sure? Autozones
troubleshooting keeps suggesting tie
rod ends, could this be?

When my 76 Astre had a similar noise, it turned out to be a shock. So I agree with J. I was able to isolate the sound by laying on the ground and pushing the car up and down til I found the source of the noise. Good luck.
