Passenger headlight wont stay down, when you turn on headlights it shuts then pops back up

So, it is typically up when you are just driving with the lights off? If that is the case and it shuts when you turn on the lights and then immediately pops up, you might want to check the electrical connection. Could it have been disconnected and then reconnected backwards? If not the motor is probably failing and is not correctly seeing the "up" and "down" stops when energized. A new motor is probably called for.
