starts some times sometime not .cold or hot dont make a difference can get it stated by switching key on and off a couple of times

If your saying it cranks good but won't start, then check spark--proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. By cycling the key on and off several times before you crank it, may help to prime the fuel system? How long since a tune-up? The other posts here, are good possibilities. I don't know what testing you've done?
