you can turbo anything, it just comes down to cost and application, The cost (this is not cheap) would be crazy, it might be cheaper to put a V-8 in it or sell it and get a perfomance car that suits you. I have seen a 91 Firebird with a turbo, but the owner converted to a 3400 with a 5speed and put a turbo on it, he claims it cost him about 5500 to due. You might want to get a hold of some "turbo" manufactures and ask about an application, I know they have a "procharger" for your car. Mind you it will not be a easy as bolting one on, you will need to redue your cooling, exhaust, electrical, heat insulaltion. If you have a emmission test in your area, the car will not pass once you put a turbo on it (from what I have seen) but you can also put a cold air intake on it, put dual exhaust on it plus many other performance upgrade that are availble for your model. just my two cents, if it was me, I would drop a 305/350 in it. or sell it and buy a perfomance car that is suitable for what I want. Where abouts do you live? (just courious, I belong to a F-body (firebird/camaro) club, we might be able to help with the details) Let me know, and I will see what info I can dig up.
