learn to live with it. our antenna is part of the rear windshield which would make you think it would get pretty good reception cos its much bigger than others but the reality is... the A4 gets crappy reception. My 02 does and my 98 did too...
Do you have an external antenna or is it integrated in the window? Our Passat radio reception crapped out, and it turned out there's a powered based on the antenna that had to be replaced. Common on VW, not sure about Audis.

I don't get any radio stations very clear in my car, and only about two that even come in.It's not an RNS-E problem because it was the same with the Symphony II...but I was wondering if you guys know of some way to boost the signal? Anyone ran into this before and found a solution? ________________ http://www.downloadvlcplayer.org
i have the same problem! i got a bose head unit and audio system. its the antenna which is not on my car! it picks up only have the radio stations that my dads car does with and antenna.
Some will tell you that pressing on the booster above the rear window make the reception better, true but not accurate. It is you finger or fingers near the PC board that creates a better signal. Solution I soldered a thin, coated piece of speaker wire to the solder point on the board that brought the signal in the best when I touched it, reinstalled the unit and problem solved. If I had a photo I would point it out but I don't.
