Hello,

does anybody has an advise for me, I am about to buy a used cad:

Audi A6, 2002, 2.5 TDI, automatic, 217.000 km

Some say the engine and the automatic gears are not quite a quality exactly in the years 2000 - 2003

Are 217.000 km problem for an Audi A6 - what can I expect from this car?

? any suggestions

If you haven't yet bought it, i would suggest you do not. the 2.5 were audi's worst diesel engines ... unfortunately. Automatic transmission is ok, not as good on millage but still pretty good gas millage. The 217K you do not usually have to worry about when buying a diesel engine, as long as the previous owner kept records :D
