Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Battery goes dead overnight. Battery is 2 years old and still under warranty.
Battery cables are clean. Starts after putting on charger for 20 minutes or so.
Starter is new and alternator was tested and said to be working properly.

Any chance dome light is left on or aftermarket electronic device installed? I would still load test battery. My first thought was bad diode in alternator but you mentioned that was o.k. If everything else checks out the only way to track it down is a parasitic draw test to see what accessory is pulling voltage and leaving the battery weak. Good Luck!
I wish it was dome light or something simple like that :) Thank you for answering me back :)
I have a 2003 and mine drains but I figured out it is draining on the negative(black) terminal side where the ground is. Got half the answer so now to figure out the rest. I would go to Advanced Auto and have them test your battery and run their diagnostics and if that comes back ok then do a disconnect of the black negative terminal and reconnect in the morning to see if it starts and if it does then do the red positive disconnect on the next night to see if it drains on both sides or one side, then you can pinpoint. Mine was tested, new ignition switch, battery, and starter tell me that is not it and testing shows it was not my alternator or anything like that but it did not tell me what it was either. I am down to fuses and ground, my money is the ground and hoping I am right. Hope this helps, I babble but I think I explained okay hahaha. GOOD LUCK!
