You could call it that. My mom has one and it is very nice, sporty and quick. Good handling. It could be considered a sports car.

No. Audi makes luxury cars and sports cars. An A4 is considered an entry level executive luxury car. The "S" line cars (S4, S6, S5, S8) are considered "sports cars" by Audi. Other "sports" cars are the RS models and the R8.

Okay, YES and NO. No, from the factory it's not. If you want a real sports car buy an rx7 or a supra or something. Yes, given the proper "under the hood" love you can make your adui a4 a subaru wrx crushing BEAST.
