No problem and it might run better than on regular. My 2003 Forester ran a LOT better on 89 octane.

Shouldn't matter. If 87 feels worse there's something else wrong, like maybe dirt/water in the tank that benefits from preventing dilution when you use a higher octane. Better to just never run below 1/4 tank on a dinosaur.
I am unsure if I can put 91 into my subaru legacy b4 year 2000, will it affect it or will it just run like normal?
