There is no way to tell how many miles a car is going to last for. It all depends on the history of the vehicle, the upkeep and maintenance.

most subaru's if taken care of properly (schedualed maintenance and fix issues when they arise/don't just let them go) will clear 400k miles on the engines before any overhauls are needed. take care of your car it will take care of you for a long time, that goes for any car.

Good news Nick, I am looking for a Subaru Legacy GT or Impreza WRX for my next car. Have to buy a used one, so knowing they last a long time after 100K is helpful. Just gotta look for those maintenance records.
