what causes a 1996 subaru legacy wagon to get stuck in park and how do i fix it

My 1996 subaru legacy wagon got stuck in park then the heater blower stopped working
and now the brake lights and horn don't work. the fuse to the brake lights IS NOT blown
but there is no power going to the fuse.Anyone know what could be causing this to
happen?

i would try unplugging the battery and plugging it back in its more then likely just a computer glitch at best. tho i would try checking for codes first before a reboot. if you don't have a code reader just head to a local autozone and they do it free.

Check the anti-theft device. Usually associated with an aging driver side int door handle. By pushing the door open with your shoulder you may have engaged the security device.
