the a/c and temperature controls of my 2003
Toyota Camry are not working. It seems to have
blown. the fan control and hazard light controls
work. Due to that, I have had the a/c power
connected to the fan switch, thus turning on the
fan turns on the a/c as well.

Was some sort f repair work being done on this vehicle which resulted in this AC issue? Sounds like you blew a fuse or relay. We need a wiring diagram and a volt meter to diagnose this issue.
