2001 Camry heater

My 01 Camry heater is blowing cold. Would
the heater core needing replaced  be the
best reason for that?

Do you hear the diverter door moving when you slide the lever from cold to hot? It could be stuck in the cold position from maybe a broken or disconnected cable?
