I'm buying an A8 with 170k + miles.Proactivly maintained by a fanatic. How many miles can I expect from this cherry 4.2? Thanks!

You should have no problem getting at least another 100k out of it without too much unexpected work.

I have a friend on the East Coast that has 370,000 miles on an S8 (hi-performance A8) That should tell you about an Audi!
