1993 camry won't start , they say might just be the fuel pump relay
Thanks in advance, We have a 1993 camry that kept stalling out ( 1st time was when trying to get out of a plowed in snow bank), sometimes it would restart and other times it wouldn't. Had it towed to a mechanic that came recommended and they stunk ,replaced all kinds off stuff -distributor coil, plugs, complete tune up. And when we picked up the car it was idling high within two days it died again and won't restart. We have a friend who messes with cars and he first tried to replace the fuses and he said those were fine, then we put a new fuel pump in and that wasn't it ( returned that) and it has a new battery cause from trying to restart it battery died (it was old anyway) so now our friend says it might be the fuel pump sensor? I can order through his work for $110 or calling around to Toyota dealers 78 plus tax and shipping. I'm on the fence if we spend the money and risk it or just have the car towed to another mechanic. So I'm asking the experts to help sway me... or push me off the edge !
