93 Toyota Extra cab 4x4 repair?

Asked by Velp0 Oct 04, 2016 at 05:46 PM about the 1993 Toyota T100

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought this truck and got it stuck pretty
well but only the wheels on my passenger
side were slinging mud, my drivers side
weren't even spinning. Simple fix? Could
be multiple things?

This would be considered normal for a stock differential. Only 1 tire will spin per axle, unless you have a locking differential. Even limited slip differentials will be challenged in slick mud. Seek out a differential specialist such as ARB air lockers, or other shop to satisfy your urge to off road.
