LT1 motor into 68 Chevelle coupe

Asked by Mauikimo68 Jul 25, 2008 at 08:54 PM about the 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle

Question type: Car Customization

I need to know about the water flow into the 68 raditor.  Do I use the same raditor and relocate where the input and output of the motor is on the 68 radiator or do I need to find a radiator that will work with the reverse flow waterpump.  Next, anyone know of a set of headers (proably shorties) that will fit the LT1 and the 68 Chevelle.
Been 30 years since I have done these things, so I have been out of the loop for a while. Need answers,
Thanks

i would advise if you are moving up to an LT-1, upgrade to a newer rad, maybe a 2 core
