Front Coil Springs on a 1971 Chevelle B/B

Asked by GuruV76BY Sep 19, 2018 at 04:09 PM about the 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What was the factory original front coil springs on my '71 B/B Chevelle, are they regular constant rate springs or they heavy duty springs. Moog offers both for the  big block models.

That would be your option. Do you want handling or a softer ride? I would go with the HD springs. If you can find progressive rate springs you can get both ride and handling.
