is a rear end from a z28 positive traction?

Sonya- The Positraction rear axle was a "recommended option" on all those early Camaros equipped with the Z28 package. You might be interested in other information about that car available at: http://www.holisticpage.com/camaro/camaros/z28.htm. Good luck from bovan.

Posi was an option. My '89 IROC had a 3.45 posi. There were more of the earlier Z's that had them. But as far as all of them being posi as a stnd option.... no.
