I have a 77 Camaro,, I took off the hoses connected to the fuel pump, should the fuel run the that hose?

If I understand right. You took fuel lines from the same fuel pump. Your asking should fuel run to that hose? Well of course how else is that pump going to send fuel to the engine? :) One line is typically send and the other is return line (whatever fuel doesn't get used returns back to tank)
Thats correct, but should the fuel flow from the tank when I had disconnected the hoses from the fuel pump? I think maybe the gas tank is rusted inside and is plugged? Or the fuel pump needs replacing. Thanks

Oh sorry now I understand. Yes it should. That is normal the pump always has the lines primed
So the fuel should run out of the tank when I disconnected the fuel line from the pump?, because it is not flowing, unless it's only going to pump when engine is running. So if the fuel isn't going to have any pressure on it after it's has stopped running.

Well the moment your turn that key it primes the fuel lines. I'm not sure if I understand what your asking?
