Clutch problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I parked the car for 6 months, now I have to start the car in gear and when I let the clutch out, it takes hold right off the floor. I cannot shift and must start the car in a different gear for it to work. Tranny seems fine. I bleed the clutch cyl and it didn't change.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jim from Spokane

check under hood on driver side on firewall for the clutch master cylender.fill with dot 3 break fluid, may have to bleed air from slave cylender, try pumping clutck peddle first to see if it comes up.also you could have a bad slave cylender.
