Why is my 2007 ford f150 missing

I ran a hotwire from battery to the ac
trying to get the ac to kick on to put
Freon in the truck. Soon as I touch the
hotwire to it it started missing and I
have replaced nearly everything I can
think of but still haven't found the
problem. It burned the Underhood fuse
which I replaced but it still misses.. It
thrower a code POI82 which is engine
fuel temp EFT sensor a low circuit
input. I have put more money in it than I
paid for it. Could Sumone plz help me
figure this out before I burn the damn
thing. It wld b greatly appriciated.

Who knows. Charging an AC system does not need the procedure you went through. When you put in "freon", when the ac system determines a certain amount of pressure is present it kicks on by itself. As for what you shorted or damaged, it could be in the vehicle's computer. I suggest you bring it to a shop where the technician can hook it up to a computer and determine which system is damaged.
