most likely LOW injection pressure...caused by a faulty fuel pressure regulator~....or it's vacuum source~

thank you now I know what to look for

NOT the fuel pump pictured there but the small cylinder with a vacuum hose goin' to it...check to see if this vacuum hose is cracked and replace with silicone lines~

faulty fuel pressure regulators will NOT issue a OBD-II code, perhaps the effects of reduced pressure makes it say "wait a minute" there ain't enough pressure here...have no idea what these genius researchers and product developers are trying to outsmart us...always~

The CEL could have come on because of an enriched condition messing up the 02, or Maf sensor (if equipped)~ get the trouble codes read by an autoparts store and bring them back and tell us, or get yer own~

the FPR has a spring, an entrance connection, a diaphragm connected to a plunger...when vacuum is applied allows MORE gasoline to circulate through the fuel rail~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5Jrwa64LDU ....sorry about the advertising~
