It can be reset by using the info, setup, reset buttons on the dash, whoever changed the oil simply forgot or didnt know how to reset it

Its just a reminder to the customer on when it thinks the oil needs to be changed its not like the red oil pressure light that comes on when you have low oil pressure.

I have to keep resetting every time I get in to my car. this is the second oil change since I owned my truck and the first time it only had to reset it once and now this time I have to reset it every time I start my truck. I'm I missing something this time around.

Perhaps there is a problem then if you keep having to reset it. It should stay off once reset
