It runs while you add gas so it's not getting gas. Check the fuel pump fuse and relay first. You should hear it running for a few seconds when you turn the key on.

Copy that I did not hear it....will check fuse and relay tomorrow... Could I have maybe put a ground wire somewhere wrong when putting new motor back in...also while problem solving earlier before I changed crank sensor I took off the old fuel rail and put it on the new motor ...is there a fuel reg on the fuel rail?thanks for your help

Here is how i would diagnose this problem 1. Fuel pump/filter fuses 2. Fuel pump/filter relay(s) 3. Turn on car and listen for fuel pump whining noise (good means its working) 4.Check Fuel Filter (open up a little and start car see if gas comes out) 5. Test Pressure on fuel lines with gauge 6. Check Grounds
