2006 Silverado won't start

When I turn key on the interior lights go out and
nothing happens.

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. That is my first thought. The diagram below is for starter motor, see the fuses, check them. Also, use a test light and check voltage at fuses. Any testing at starter motor, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
