Something is wrong with my transmission!

Asked by Angelica Oct 20, 2020 at 02:52 AM about the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Automatic 2006 silverado, 4l60e.. truck will not accelerate
passed 60mph, but I don't feel any shifting happening, rpm
is HIGH. I checked transmission fluid and it's good,
checked fuses they are good, and put in a new shifter kit. I
have done an excessive amount of research and so many
things come up like shift cable needs to be replaced, bad
neutral safety switch, or position sensor, or speed sensor....
I am overwhelmed.
