1972 FORD BRONCO

Asked by GuruBH8L7 Jan 03, 2019 at 01:15 PM about the 1972 Ford Bronco

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1972 Ford Bronco and I want to swap the engine out with a modern
motor.  Is there a way to do determine what modern motors will fit?  What
manufacturers and models?

Your Bronco will be much more valuable with the original engine. You could install a 5.0 from a fox body Mustang I suppose.

I would keep the original motor and add modern electronic ignition and aftermarket fuel injection if it has the 302. Keep all the original parts!
