Asked by Lamont Apr 07, 2016 at 05:57 AM about the 1988 Ford Bronco

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1988 Ford Bronco 2 that kept not
starting and  having a battery die so I
changed the alternator and the starter but it
still doesn't stay charged. What's wrong?

you have a parasitic draw somewhere. in that vintage of a vehicle it shouldn't be to hard to locate. check for rubbed wires and check your fuses. a blown fuse may lead you to the circuit that is causing the problem. if not, check out videos by ericthecarguy.com and scottykilmer.com. they both have great ones on how to locate a parasitic draw.
