i have a 1988 ford bronco and the cheak engine light keeps flashing when i drive it. when it does that it looses power.any ideas?

Your car is misfiring really bad that's why its flashing and looseing power ur not running on all cylinders

A bad O2 sensor, bad EGR valve, or clogged catalytic converter would be a guess. Could be a vacuum leak as well.
