I have a 1989 Bronco II that is in showroom condition (inside and out) but the spare tire race rattles and I can not find a fix for it......

Have you checked the gasket that holds it to the body? Sometimes those can wear away over time and rattle. Or some of the bolts could just be loose that hold it on. Maybe the tire it self is loose and ratting. If everything is still tight, and the rattle is still there, there is a possibility that something is rattling inside the door. Normally a vehicle has to have been severely sun rotted for that to happen.

The tire is tight, everything appears to be in good condition and tight, I purchased the truck new and it has spent most of it time indoors but it could be that a rubber gasket has deteriorated or fallen off.....Thank you for your reply. Larry Henderson
